SIDAC

The State Institute for Development of Arts & Crafts (SIDAC) is a Govt. of Odisha sponsored organisation registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 bearing no.-21959/137 of 2004-05 dated 15th October,2004 and started functioning from 16/10/2004 at its registered office in Handicrafts Complex, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar.

The SIDAC, established in 2004, aims to promote the Handicrafts industry in the state, preserve cultural heritage, and manage state-level design centers for design development, product innovation, and diversification. It functions as an autonomous agency for all-round development, including surveying, capacity building, cluster development programs, skill upgradation training, export marketing facilitation, and enterprise development. SIDAC manages institutional training, design development programs, and urban hats. In December 2020, it was recognized as a "Centre of Excellence" by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
