Food, Nutrition, Health, and Wash (FNHW)
-
The Food, Nutrition, Health & WASH (FNHW) programme is implemented by Odisha Livelihoods Mission (OLM) in partnership with UNICEF since 2016. It aims to improve the health and nutritional status of women and adolescent girls by leveraging the Self Help Group (SHG). The main objective is to improve health and nutritional status of women and adolescent girls through increasing service coverage and behaviour change communication. Two major strategies have been adopted under this programme i.e. system strengthening to fill gaps in service delivery, and community-led interventions to empower women and enhance service uptake. The programme has targets four groups—pregnant women, mothers of children under two, adolescent girls, and newlywed women aged 18–21.
