To diversify incomesources, OLM supports SHG members in various non-farm enterprises such as :

  • Encouraging SHG-based microenterprises (e.g., tailoring units, food processing).
  • Training and capacity building on entrepreneurship. ...
  • Credit linkage for working capital and asset creation.
  • Food processing (pickle, snacks, mushroom, chhatua).
  • Candle making, incensesticks, and leaf plate production.
  • Retail shops,
  • Bamboo, sabai grass, and wood crafts.
  • Identification and support to potential entrepreneurs.
  • Support through Community Investment Fund (CIF) & Community Enterprises Fund (CEF).
  • Business Development Services Providers (BDSP) facilitation.
  • Handholding support for enterprise planning and setup.
  • Training in various trades based on market demand.
  • Post-placement support and migration tracking.
  • Identification of artisans and mapping of clusters.
  • Training, design development, and product diversification.
  • Market linkages and branding of traditional crafts.
  • Support for traditional and local crafts and trades.
